Jana Brodani
Jana Brodani completed her studies at the University of Economics in Prague, Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague, University of London in the UK and a French MBA postgraduate study program at the IFTG. She obtained her PhD. at the University of Economics, Faculty of Finance and Accounting. Since 2009 she has been the executive director of the Czech Capital Market Association. She is also a member of the executive board of international association European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) where she represents the Czech Republic. She is a co-author of the Commentary on the Investment Companies and Investment Funds Act and author of a number of professional publications. She initiated and participated on the preparation of the Strategy for the Capital Market Development in the Czech Republic, which was approved by the Government of the Czech Republic in 2019. At the European level, she contributes to current regulatory issues and regularly lectures at domestic and international conferences on the topics of investing of women, development of capital markets in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, retirement savings, digitalization and financing of companies.
